And please explain why calling for the 'death' of Israel is any different that calling for the 'death' of apartheid-era South Africa or the 'death' of Crimea as a part of Russian territory or further still the 'death' of 'Great Britain and her American colonies'. None of these implies the actual death of a single human being let alone 'all Jews'. They all called for the dissolution of tyrannical states which violated the norms of international law or common justice.
For extra credit you can please explain why if the 'death' of Israel as the controlling entity over this specific geographic area and population is such an unthinkable horror why was it not equally horrific when the preceding entity, the British Mandate of Palestine, was extinguished to make room for the state of Israel.
This episode has nothing to do with anti-Semitism or fears of violence against Jews and has everything to do with silencing criticism of Zionism and Israel's continued terrorist atrocities against the native population in the illegally occupied Palestinian territories. And if the most fundamental of American freedoms, the freedom of speech, has to be sacrificed to support this aim that's just fine and dandy with the Zionists. After all, we should always remember the immortal words of Netenyahu in the Knesset: "Who cares what the American's will think; WE OWN THE AMERICANS"
