I don't understand how this would be even remotely enforceable. Fundamentally nothing differentiates cryptocurrency "mining" from any other brute-forcing algorithm, and it's actually what mining is in the first place. Outlawing certain types of algorithms doesn't historically end well...

I get why this is probably happening; but who decides what is unsafe or supposedly "insecure" - Google, or some other centralized authority? Recently, a binary for XMR-Stak that I have VERY GOOD REASON TO BELIEVE is 100% virus-free, as it matches a hash of one compiled locally, was flagged, and I'm wondering why this is. I was still able to obtain it, but I sincerely hope this isn't a preview of what's to come.
