Do you really think the type of people who want an invisibility cloak actually have sex at all, let alone in public places?

I work for an organization that uses Windows 2000 and IE6 primarily. Nobody around knows about Firefox, Safari, Opera, etc. We can't even 'upgrade' to IE7. As a web developer here, I tell them to start using Firefox and pages will miraculously render properly, and I explain how terrible IE6 is.
Their response: I just want to use what I'm used to.

There are still plenty of people who won't change. They expect things to work properly in IE6. We can't just stop the hacks and expect people to automatically know to change browsers. Even telling them that's the solution, they won't because people don't like change.

Assuming people are using Windows XP or higher. At my workplace, everyone is using Windows 2000. IE6 all around. As a web developer here, it's painful...painfully painful.

I agree completely. Lens clarity and overall quality is possible one of the most important aspects in photography. You can have 100 megapixels, but if your lens is cheaply made and doesn't allow accurate lighting through, then it's useless.

You must not have read the article. This is about JavaScript, not Flash.

Think about the costs of renewing licences, or buying more if your company grows.
In the long run, I'd expect the FOSS setup to be cheaper, even if there is a high cost to migrate and train people.
