Hi all!
I went to Cedar Point on monday (5/13) for a Physics field trip. It was so much fun, aside from the fact that it was cold, wet, and rainy the entire time! (I nearly got sick) For those of you who haven't heard of Cedar Point before, it's an amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio, USA. It has something like 14 rollercoasters, as well as numerous other rides. It's a GREAT PLACE!
If you ever go, you must ride the Raptor. It's a hanging rollercoaster that has a loop, amazing twists and turns, and is an all out fun coaster. Definitely my favorite. I also rode the Millenium Force. Words cannot describe the feeling I got flying down that 80-degree first hill at fast speeds! It was amazing!
They have a new ride this year called the Wicked Twister. It was a lot of fun being shot out of the station, accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in about 3 seconds! :D The Power Tower was fun too, but I tended to get bored about half-way through the ride.
Over-all, it was a great experience and I can't wait until I go again! (Even if it's in the rain) The only thing that might make it better would be sunshine and a girlfriend to share it with.
