No, you are right: you definitely went to the wrong school :p UNM has some very bright AI professors. Personally, I think that I could spend 20 years under Prof Ackley and never come close to learning everything he knows :)
Not saying that there aren't bright guys at tech, but hey... it's NMT !! lol
