amiak's Journal: 3 Bad Things Happened to me at work today...

Senior Management visited me today in cubicle land.

1. Firstly, I was told that I was a "slow learner"
2. Secondly, I was "shitted", as in "I'm just shitting you!"
3. Thirdly, I was punched in the arm

Now, I don't want to lie... it has been a while since I whipped some senior managerial ass. However, it is rare that anybody messes with me. This flurry of three bad things happened so quickly that I really didn't know what to say. If I had said something, it wouldn't have been nice, and the boss of my bosses boss would have had a problem. Isn't this ridiculous?

So... that's my story. Today, I got chumped by senior management. I know there is a technical ladder and a managerial ladder but being held in low-esteem doesn't sit well with me. Especially, in a group of non-impressive people. Either way, it's better to be the tail of the lions than the head of the foxes.
