I love the concept of AIR, and really love the local data cache, etc. I like to dream how much faster I could get a user's system out the gate to them if all they needed to get going was XP, Office, IE and AIR. The Integrated installer badges are definitely where it's at - "Click here to install" - and the ability to easily deploy updates to the client. Tying in to an XML based API built on an easy language like Ruby and using great frameworks like jQuery, YUI, Rails, and etc. to build good web presentation for less-often users. Lots of cool things that can be done with this stuff - just don't abuse it :-P

I don't know how many times I've had to remember where that config file was... I always missed that feature from Debian...
