Just like everyone else has said so far, McDonald's goal is generally to get you out of there ASAP. And although it seems implied that this will change with the WiFi idea, It's only going to have so much of an effect. I mean, I can't remember the last time I actually went inside a McDonald's, and there's little to no value of two minutes of internet access while I wait for my food in my car.
Maybe they're hoping that this will bring more customers inside instead of using the drive through, but I also doubt that. I'd go inside if I had the time (well, if I had the time and my local McDonald's was a little cleaner), but most people I know go to McDonald's when they're late for something, or on their way to class.
