Open/BSD acceptance... (Score 1)

I just wonder if the fact that OpenBSD is a 'Canada based' OS could have an incidence on the aceptance of this OS by US administration/politics. I mean here in France the army was very suspicious about Windows 95/NT as it was a foreign OS (and of course as there were no sources available...) I also wonder how it was configured for the crypto related stuff... :-) With all this mess on the patents and allowed-only-outside-the-US-libs do they follow the law or do they use (IMHO stronger) export libs ?
