Please, do not "update" the Craigslist UI. The "modern" trends are boring, devoid of design, too much gray, bloated backends which do not serve the user and are anything but intuitive. Sure, a simple font change, some (static) graphic eye candy would be OK. But the basic design works. You don't need excessive mouse clicks or scrolling, the information density is balanced, and there are not a laundry list of 3rd party domains contacted for ads, metrics and tracking purposes. My shopping habits are none of fbook's (or any other big tech) business. While I go through great pains to block useless domains (for the user) it is becoming increasingly difficult with every browser "update". I also began to use a Pihole. Sometimes, when I get on a website when not at home its just impossible to use with all of the pop-ups, distracting animations and videos. Thank you Craigslist (and Wikipedia) for not burdening your users with that. The Craigslist search is literal (thank you) and does not return useless "sponsored" results. Please don't succumb to the pressure! Keep it user focused. Thank you

Comment Win10 UI..boring, not intuititave, hidden options, (Score 1) 83

I agree. Why the modern trend toward little or no color, ugly UI, hiding options, spyware, pushing forced updates and/or ads, windows 10 is just ugly. We have CPUs and GPUs which are extremely capable, why the simple, dumb, gray look and the stick icons which don't tell you anything? There is nothing win10 can do which my 7 can't, except for the security update issue, which will become more significant as time passes. Moving to Linux. **Maybe** if I can get a copy of enterprise 10, disable all of the crap, and then redo the UI? Probably not. Windows 7 is very user friendly, is not bloated, and looks nice. Win 10 is a step backward, in the name of "simple". Yuuuck.
