Comment Non-native has not even got here yet (Score 1) 1173

Name 10 apps you use most frequently.
  • Now, if about 80% of these apps are non-native you post something like 'The End of Native code?'
  • If atleast 60% are non-native, post something like 'Native Code no longer popular?'
  • 50% non-native: 'Interpreted platforms on par with Native Code!!' (with two exclamation marks)
  • 40% : 'Interpreted Platforms Gaining Acceptance!'
  • < 40%: Don't post anything at all. Relax. Try gardening.

As for web apps, hardly anyone uses native code to render HTML but a lot of what goes on behind the scenes such as database drivers, interpreters, zip libraries etc are native (if they work at all). The browser too is native.
So there is really no 'end' for native code.
You see this? This is a C style comment. We're not going away any time soon my friend.
