*sigh* you know what I'm referring to. Padilla did not request his lawyer do that. Padilla did nothing but sit in a brig with his rights stripped. Padilla was completely unaware of any and all events happening outside of that brig. His lawyer, acting without any knowledge whatsoever of his client, not even knowing where his client was, filed on his behalf. AND IT WAS THROWN OUT.
