Sunglasses.
We all need them, for our eyes can be sunburned too. And we all know how sexy we look with huge raccoon tan lines.
(Which I have, well, i have the two lines on the side of my face, REALLY noticable)
Anyway, the reason I write about sunglasses is that the European style is something completely foreign to me.
Now, for me, "fashion" takes a back seat to function. Sunglasses are there to give your eyes a break from the bright evil that is...THE SUN. Yes, that evil yellow ball of hydrogen gas burning millions of miles away (about 93.7 million if my guesstimate is correct--8.4 minutes for light to reach the earth * 186,000 miles/sec)
Yes, I know weird things, leave me alone.
Yes, I know I'm a nerd, that won't change. Some people find it charming.
Yes, those people probably should have their heads examined, but that's up to them, okay?
Anyway, the sunglasses, first, are HUGE. We're not talking aviator style here, these things cover from eyebrow to cheekbones. Wide strips of flimsy plastic that, get this, are not tinted! Oh they have "accents" on the top toward the frame (if there is one) that come in "rose" or "pearl" or "azure" or some other weird name like that. But essentially the glasses are just clear pieces of plastic meant to complement an outfit. They serve no useful purpose!

and to confirm, Jason's sunglasses tan is VERY obvious.. he wears his shades indoors most of the time.. it takes a certain something to wear shades as much as he does.
