Journal after5's Journal: Vienna 4

Yeah yeah, I skipped an update on budapest, sorry, i'll get to that soon enough. I found an internet cafe and don't have my floppy that has all my various stories on it. Vienna is good so far, but I prefer budapest for:

1) being cheaper
2) smaller, no need for the metro
3) did I mention it was cheap? 5 for a HUGE pizza

We spent about 5 hours at the border between Austria and Hungary, it wasn't too exciting, quite hot, but we survived.

I'm finding myself not too eager to go clubbing, Moscow destroyed me, and now that I'm getting over the cold I find the extra sleeping (ie, more than 6, less than 8 hours) is working wonders.

Should have gotten more travelsmith clothing, that stuff rules.

The cafe's here in vienna are expensive and far from the hotel, expect a huge update when I get to prague in a couple days.

Evidently I'm too ignorant to do reports for the two ballet's I went to in Russia, so I still have 5 concerts to go to before we reach oxford. (The professor here essentially said that at dinner the other night to me, I'm not too fond of that one)

I'll be back in due time.

ciao

  • wow, you were at a cafe in vienna. fascinating really. do they sell that flavored vienna coffee stuff and just call it flavored coffee? i know that was lame, but no one else has posted a message to you so i decided it would be the sibling-like thing for me to do so. wow, so sleep is good for you, who'd have thought? alright, enough with the weird conversation. i'm glad you are doing better and having fun. i look forward to seeing pictures, so be quick about it if you don't mind. other than that, be a good and don't get caught if you have a need to be not-so-good. you're room just isn't the same without the penguins. love ya' mucho!
  • I hope you are feeling better now, I'm sure extra sleep and good food will help. I'm sorry to hear about the ballet write-up issue, you will probably enjoy writing about the concerts more anyway. What have you been to so far?

Good luck with your roommate... I guess we'll hear from you soon enough. Are you traveling by bus or by train?
  • Well this thing really is a pain to register for, but hopefully this will work. So here's the story... I called, hoping for sumptuous cookies, but alas, to my sorrow, I learned that you were in far away Europe and inhibited from baking the delicious morsels for me. In addition to that tragedy I will also be deprived of something else, your company, though this is far less grieving to me. Seriously though, I've enjoyed your commentary and hope that your trip continues to be enjoyable. Take care... Adam. (by the way... it was supposed to be Adam the Large of Marietta, but the thing screwed up!)
