Journal after5's Journal: End of the Term as we know it 2

Well, as of 1.30pm GMT, I am done with my summer term. It has been a good 10 weeks abroad, I've seen many things, experienced foreign cultures, and learned a lot of medieval english history (which I immediately forgot when presented with the test this morning, oops).

I would like to thank the following people for making this summer possible:

My Mother and Father - for giving me the financial kick in the pants to send me on this multinational excursion in hopes of creating a more well-rounded me. And now that I have seen parts of the world, I'm desperately craving my mother's food and father's home. Well, mother's home really, but I have to try and balance out the love here.

My Sibling and Sister - for not invading my room and disturbing the delicate contents thereof. Your willingness to respect my wishes only adds to the love I hold. On the other hand if the rumors are true and penguins did fly (which they cannot without external influence, simple physics, and object at rest, i.e. lazy penguin, will stay at rest) then there is going to be some serious talks going on at the Boylan manor.

Heidi - hehe ;-)

My Friends - if any of you even remember who I am, then I thank you for standing by me.

Shoemaker Family (even Katie) - Katie provided me with a constant source of amusement, and thanks to the wonderful generosity of the rest of the family in their handling of a small care package I was able to enjoy my guitar much more this summer. Thank you.

Faithful readers - To the rest of you I thank for your colourful commentary that you have left, or for those that were unable to register and respond I just merely thank you for reading. I assure you I have heard about many people who have tuned in at some point, it was my pleasure to entertain you.

Once again, it has been a great adventure, but like most it has come to an end. Tomorrow I'm coming home, finally. Europe has been great, and i have found what I am looking for, and I belong on the other side of the pond.

  • Yes, the time has run out, the money has run out, and Mommie's patience of not seeing her baby boy has run out. Alas, it is time for the wandering Prince of the Boylan Manor to return to his pedestrian ways, and re-join the serfdom of a typical college student. It has been a most enjoyable journal, and we all thank Jason for his time, dedication, and effort to keep us all informed of his trials, tribulations, and testimonials of his European Extraveganza. Its been fun, its been real, its been a blast to read your journal, and the comments thereto..... Safe journey home, Mijo, and we await you with open arms, empty wallets, and lots of hugs, kisses, and love. The Papa

Automotive incinerate. Light a candle, light a votive. Step down, step down. Watch your heel crush, crushed, uh-oh, this means no fear cavalier. Renegade steer clear! A tournament, tournament, a tournament of lies. Offer me solutions, offer me alternatives and I decline....
