Games have had generated content, content, levels, maps, textures, sounds, speech since ever.. some of the most beloved games have procedurally generated content.. no one who thought, “wouldn’t it be nice to have npc in no man sky” or “wouldn’t it be eat if I could speak to all the npc” and had an iq higher than 80 expected that each line of dialogue or content to be hand made by humans at a meaningful scale.
