It was removed from the bill and put in its own separate bill alongside direct payments to state and municipalities. Mitch Mcconnell and Pelosi got pushed into a compromise because Manchin/Romney,Collins, et al. were able to come up with their own compromise bill and it was making leadership look pretty stupid that they couldn't get it done.

My company is a SAAS product for therapists to help people with mental health assessments and resources. We pivoted from just doing evaluation assessments to adding in homework assignments to help therapists provide more telehealth resources. We also have been rolling out mental health support videos on our youtube pages to deal with the stress and anxiety from all of this as well as providing some feedback assessments for the general population. If you provide a third party service that does any kind of SSO authentication with your site then Safari's latest ITP policy breaks the 3rd party embed. You have to have the 3rd party embed come from your customer's domain as a subdomain using CNAME's in order to make this work. This means your quick and easy embed solution no longer is so quick and not so easy. Especially when having to make sure everything is over SSL and handling certificate authentication and you can see it starts to get pretty messy. Look at companies like Auth0 who pretty much state that unless you are on the enterprise plan and can implement the CNAME workarounds you are out of luck on the SSO implementation (https://auth0.com/docs/api-auth/token-renewal-in-safari). So what is everyone going to do? Move to JWT or something like that, except JWT have to deal with blacklisting and challenges with replay attacks and all kinds of fun properties. This is seriously a pain in the neck for those of us who are NOT advertisers but are trying to provide a service. I spent a lot of time attempting to implement Apple's Storage API and the documentation was so limited and it still didn't work as they described it.
