My ISP VSNL used to work pretty well on Windows 98 but somehow it decided to refuse data transfer on Windows XP. As a result surfing the Net became one big pain in the ass. Since, I knew that there was no problem with my ISP, I decided to look for the differences between the process of controlling the modem by 98 and XP. First I reinstalled my modem driver, then I flipped through the help pages and the manual. I also tried searching through the Net but nothing.
