adespen's Journal: Nothing to say but its ok

I saw the Beales in 1964. My mother took my sister and I to the concert in Festival Hall, Melbourne. It was almost impossible to hear them sing as girls were screaming non stop. I was 8ish and didnt know their music then. I grew up with their melodies and lyrics and remember trying to decipher the 28if licence plate of Abbey Road etc. I was in Hollywood at an animation symposium the night John Lennon was shot. Someone yelled out the news interrupting the guest animators speech. I listen to them not so much nowadays. My kids do more. I love to listen to Neil Young. Long may he run. and Bob Dylan. more another time. if music be the food of love...
