Governments are severely lacking people who are technically literate even just a little bit.

I find it interesting that the arm/Nividia hasn't raised more antitrust questions than it has - or that Nvidia could EOL the processor if they felt the need. Maybe others could expand on that question.

It will raise concerns, at least with China.

Wow... When I thought you could not find any guy crazier than Masayoshi Son... here nVidia comes in panic-buying mode. 40 Billions! It's even profited since 2016, while the company almost doubled in size, made a string of losses and flatlined on license revenue... nVidia *must* have something boiling under the hood otherwise this acquisition does not make any sense. A lof of the things that are passed as *pro*, they could have still done them without buying Arm, and a lot of the things that they could do, i.e. *influence* Arm's roadmap to suit their needs, will completely destroy Arm's business model and eventually, its long term value. The only possible explanation is that this is what they want to do... but doing this, they will force *a lot* of actors to look for other (open) alternatives, in the process. They might still win this, in the sense that it will play nicely for them in the long term, but not for Arm.
