Well, I am 24 years old, have experience with C,C++,Perl,PHP,SQL, etc......
Am good with Windows and can manage *nix somewhat ....
But am now working as a "tester" for a big company ... where I test some drivers / hardware ... hardly uses 5% of my brain.... and so end up in places like slashdot for like 6 out of every 8 working hour....
So, am I working? or not working (surfing / bumming around at work more then I actually work)... ?
PS. The only reason I am not getting much other offers could be cos, I did not really do much of my education... maybe will go for some cert. courses with the right buzz words in them before hunting for a better job. Recruiters sometimes have no clue as to what you are actually saying, especially when you give them "geek talk" - ie, "Got experince in this, blah, blah, blah..."
