Zerocoder's Journal: Creative to release binary X-Fi Drivers

While it's not before mid 2007, Creative Labs will release a binary driver for their X-Fi series cards . An announcement made on http://opensource.creative.com/ on May 18th about the driver release.
As the site mentions, the released drviers will be able to exploit all potential of the card including EAX and will work with ALSA and OpenAL.
As the drivers for these cards are very welcome, it's extremely dissappointing that seeing creative to jump to binary driver bandwagon even if their flagship card are out for a while.
