Re:unlikely to be a nice game with this hype (Score 1)

It really looks like they are taking large measures to prevent this. The phases look like they are relativly short, starting as a cell then spending 1 or 2 more "stages" untill you design your "race" and start to majorly influence their development. I remember SimEarth used to take forever to make process but Spore looks like they want any gamer to be able to jump into the game and have fun.
