I intend to get a membership from APNIC to get allocated prefixes for v6 and IP addresses on v4, almost all documents is done but i still have some stuff to iron out.
So i guess on what is your saying is that your ISP and VPS provider agreed to give you 100% SLA and that does not go down? Even my ISP has problems at some point, unless they agree to give me 99% SLA.
Currently i have "native" IPv6 from my ISP on the main connection and use this for my protected network but they only provide me with a
I needed autoconfiguration so that's why i decided on tunnelbroker for simplicity, no DHCPv6.
Saying that everything is not under your control is true. You don't control how your ISP routes, you don't control your ISP gateway routers, you don't control the VPS uptime.. etc.. etc.. So what can you control?
As for me, getting my own prefixes and IPv4 ranges will be my next "level" of control. But for now i'm sticking with what i have.
In case i ever do need to access my routers if tunnels go down, I access it by Dial-in IPSec to my network but i never remember the need to "fix" my tunnelbroker setup. I don't know why you would do a direct SSH because of security but whatever rocks you boat then.
