Seriously, I am. It seems as every day goes on our rights as human beings are being trampled, in the name of power and money.
Government takes on a new form as not a provider of peace and prosperity to citizens, but as a Corporation intent on making a profit. Any lives and careers are expendible if it means getting the job done.
The thing that really does get to me though is not that I see this happening around me, but at the fact that the everyday person is oblivious to it all. How can they stand by while their rights are taken away one by one, the laws on which their country was founded - being trampled over every day.
Is it just that they don't care? Is is because they can't be bothered? Are they ignorant? The times are changing and if these sheep don't start opening their eyes and maybe for once standing up and saying WHY? like the rest of us do, then I really do fear for what direction our world is going to take.
John Titor may have been a hoax, but the situation he describes just seems to mimic everyday life more and more.
