YenTheFirst writes: Violence in video games has been part of the medium from the very beginning, and has been a point of controversy with politicians. Surprisingly, though, a study finds that violence is not a major factor in a player's enjoyment of a game. More important are feelings of competency and control. Players had as much fun playing a sanitized version of Halo 2 as the original.
