This. Living in the northern part of the USA makes heat pumps a nonstarter ~6 months of the year. So expect elderly deaths and misery of these become mandated. Also, the cost of electricity vs natural gas is night and day so watching people on fixed (and shrinking due to inflation) incomes get $500 electric bills should be wonderful. Oh and letâ(TM)s not forget the fucked up grid that can barely handle the current demand. Just add heat pumps and EVâ(TM)s and it should drive prices down and be super reliable, right?

Beyond the blind tests that prove otherwise, my personal anecdote is I can absolutely tell the difference between 120Hz and 165Hz on my 3080ti powered display. Lucky you if you canâ(TM)t. You can save money with a 60Hz monitor.
