Actually, I am a left hander and have been writing with a fountain pen for years now. It is my prefered writing instrument because the ink dries up so quickly. The ballpoints use a thick ink which takes forever to dry, pencil always smears.
Rollerballs and gel pens work great, but they lack the style of a fountain pen. Now I am what is termed an overwriter, I hook my hand up and over the line I am writing on, but none the less I know alot of left handed fountain pen writers and we all have something in common - we have adapted in a right handed world since birth, and did exactly that when we decided we wanted to write with a fountain pen. So go out and buy one and start learning - it will become an obsession!
