Yet another disturbing thing to come down the rails from the movies. We'll be extremely lucky if we don't wind up in Terminator territory. Let's not forget that Skynet existed as a pager service in the early 90s. That said we should equally hope that AI doesn't decide we're the biggest problem in the near future and decide to exterminate us like any other parasite or vermin.

Many of us who use Steam also mod our games. Titles like The Elder Scrolls and the Fallout franchise have a plethora of mods available to do anything from simply upgrading the polygon count to adding content. It would nice if it were possible in the portable format.

Norton security has always been labor intensive and memory hungry. Conversely Avast has always been relatively lightweight by comparison. Let's hope they adopt the lightweight formula instead of the bloat many of us have come to expect from Norton. Don't get me wrong, Norton is effective for it's intended purpose. My issue is the lag that it's software imposes in other programs running on the same machine.
