Won't be buying one but I have had a go on one and it's actually a pretty slick piece of kit. Don't hate when there's no need.

At the very least they could have capped it. There's no way the ones that are earning hundreds of times the national average wage should have kept these rights. Could easily have had a cap on it. Don't get me wrong, I say scrap the lot but would be happy moving in the right direction.

Open/Libre Office is free and that's what I use but to be fair it looks like this is a pretty good offering all things considered.

I haven't read the details about this deal but some of these numbers are big because they buy things with their own Google company shares/stock which I believe are valued considerably above their yield. Google shares/stock are many multiple times higher in value than equivalent stocks with the same dividends/returns. That's why these figures are so massive...maybe? Is it a cash purchase? YouTube wasn't.

Doesn't really surprise me too much. 3D is a bit of fun and the whole glasses thing... But I am absolutely convinced it's going to be absolutely massive in gaming. PS3 owners are all going to want one and enough will buy to make it the next big thing but not for average Joe. That extra bit of immersion will go down VERY well. Xbox will get very interested soon.
