If you were to believe the politicians, the UK has performed at least on a par with the comparable economies within the EU since Brexit, yet according to these statistics made up by people with an interest in the UK rejoining the EU, it has been really poor "compared to what it could have been if the U.K. had remained in the EU".
So the whole premise is based on their usual bullish*t estimates.

In 2016 I voted to remain in the EU. If there was a referendum today on rejoining the EU I would vote not to.
The time might be right to rejoin in the future, but it sure as hell isn't now. The UK needs to sort itself out, which doesn't look like happening with this or the next government, and the EU could do with smartening up as well.
(If the EU was willing to make a few concessions, like returning to driving on the correct side of the road, like the Romans did, then we could talk.)

Between 2015/16, the year before Brexit, and 2019/20, the year before Covid, the NHS budget increased by £400 million per week "in real terms".
That's not to say that the £400 million is the result of a "Brexit benefit" or that the NHS has sufficient funding, but the deliberate misreading of the nonsense that appeared on the side of a bus has always been a specious argument.
FWIW, I'm not sure it's realistically possible to fund the NHS sufficiently, given the massive debts that were taken on as part of Blair's expansion of PPI funding.

As for the next election, the Conservatives and Reform will split the opposition so my money would be on a hung parliament. Labour might form a minority government, which would at least curb some of their stupidity for the things on which they allow a vote, until it collapses and we go to the polls again.

We should have been planning for more nuclear power. Installing Chinese-made solar panels in the UK is a joke and we don't have the land area of France for extensive on-shore wind farms.

Hardly surprising that another study reaches the desired conclusions of those who commissioned it. The trains on half the tube lines already drive themselves, with the drivers only pushing a button to close the doors, yet these studies always factor in the costs of replacing all the trains. On those lines, all they need to do is add a few hundred pounds of electronics and remove a few hundred pounds of train driver.

Half of the claimed 22 billion pound 'hole' is because the previous government didn't account for the 10 billion that Labour have already spent on public sector pay rises, and the rest would disappear when tax receipts peak towards the end of the tax year.
