(Fri May 9) OK, new entries seem a bit pointless; this is just one topic. I've been on holiday for 10 days (and I avoid the computer at such times) so who know what I missed, but I moderated today.

From what I've seen in the overseas news, you might be forgiven for thinking that all of Canberra has burned down. Actually, while it is bad, it's not _that_ bad. Four people have died, 400 homes have been lost and several thousand more people have been evacuated temporarily. But this is a city of 300,000 people, and most of us are fine.

I wonder if I'll use it.
