I have apache, proftp, postfix, courier, and mydns all pulling from 4 tables.
For apache 1.3.x I found mod_shapvh that lets you pull vhosts from mysql. The rest of them all have native support. I also use libpam-mysql and libnss-mysql for having users owning files when they don't have accounts /etc/passwd.
Yes.. its a sick sick MySQL fetish.
