computers get better, Microsoft says their software gets better.
terminology changes, people don't care.
what it boils down to is the users experience.
if it doesn't meet the criteria of:
- I enjoy it
- It's easy to use
- The graphics look great
then no one is th wiser.
And yes, the GNU is an article mistake.
