Jitsi Meet:

  • * Is one of the few FLOSS video conferencing tools that simply works for non-techie users (follow a link, you're done, no need for registration, everything happens in the browser).
  • * Is one of the few videoconferencing tools that does not spy on you directly or indirectly (does not need a FB account, a MS account, a Google account, ...).
  • * Is one of the few videoconferencing tools where you can control the central server node (fully FLOSS, easy installation on Ubuntu or via a Docker image).

Of course Jitsi Meet ain't perfect, but it gets the job done.

Before you complain about missing "features", if funny backgrounds and other childish gimmicks are higher priority to you than privacy of your communication channels, think twice.

This is also my preferred system, for the reasons posted above.

Role Playing (Games)

Journal Journal: Multi-User Dungeon

Games have advanced incredibly when we think about graphics, but when talking about adventures, quests resolutions, interacting with other players and imagination... I prefer MUDS.

They grow and were very popular in the early 90s, when a bunch of students discovered where they could do in the computer rooms about networking and games :) but still a lot of them, and new ones remain with this classic games, even when large masses have never known about their existence.

This Government which says that they take care of peple are making experiments with this people as nazis used to do.

If they eventually get freedom their mind will be so fucked off that there will be no money to pay them. It's what the government of freedom and liberty chips has done.

Can the torture and lies they told us be measured with dozimeters?
