2 Sided Issue (Score 1)

I am no math wizard and a lot of this problem is over my head but I still have been following the developments since the prize winner was announced. I believe that what is happening now with the controversy of the issue is exactly what should happen if the scientific process is working. The kid is very talented and had enough courage and determination to submit his proof. Just because someone submits a proof it doesn't automatically make it correct. That is why it gets reviewed by the peers and during this process errors get caught and changes are made. No matter which way the issue is resolved it will still progress the mathematicians towards the real answer.
