I agree, in the sense that we're really not supposed to draw a line. Dieting preferences should ideally never be connected to any half-assed compassion for various life forms. If you're going to be compassionate, you've got to put everything under that umbrella, otherwise it's just hypocrisy. Most people never stop to consider the number of insects that are killed during the process of growing vegetables.
