No, "16 years" is 8 characters - "decades" is 7.
If your best comeback is grasping for some sort of inane technicality, at least make sure that technicality is factual.
> I do want to apologize for things getting this heated the other day (...)
He isn't apologizing for his actions, he is expressing regret in a generalized way so his ego can take that as the smalles win possible - basically "I'm sorry you're offended".
Anything put in orbit is easily visible/trackable.
> My point is that strong private property rights are a fundamental underpinning of modern liberal society.
Absolutely. People who spent money on a device should be able to run the software of their choice on their property. That overrides any sort of "but mah ecosystem" consideration.
Seems after all the effort being put into signalling how you don't actually OWN any media you "buy", we shouldn't accept "steal" as the appropriate word.
Copyright infringement, please. Or unlicensed distribution.
For the majority of tax payers with a simple filing, this cuts down massively on adm costs.
Also, what do you get if you concatenate the irs?
If it is recognizred as a state by a UN member, it IS in "one sense" a state.
Now they just need to convince anyone that matters to agree with that and open THAT can of worms...
You can also easily walk up to the tv to flip between channels, 4 seconds max.

What do you mean free? The dev has found a way to take payment without telling you.

I think Norway not having legalized political bribery, and Turbotax/intuit not being a Norwegian company is a bigger factor. All things considered.
AFAIK one important step for satellite prep is removing gasses. I'd imagine organic wood could be challenging to prepare for vacuum.
I'm amazed at how people from the US just accept arbitrary "fees".
You should demand up front "this is what you'll end up paying" pricing everywhere.
The free market can only work well of pricing information is transparent.
Calling something a "market" when there's only one seller is a bit misleading.
A very simple "advertised price is what you pay" plus "resale of tickets above original price is illegal" may SEEM draconian, but it works very well where I'm from.
Kick out the rent seekers. They add nothing of value.
