Journal TwilaForest's Journal: Someone has it out for me 4

I was driving along yesterday, minding my own business; I went through my little green light and this IDIOT, who was talking on his cell phone and eating his flippin' breakfast sandwich, ran his RED light and rammed into my car going 50 mph. OUCH!!!!

The short version is that my car is totalled "SNIFF" and I have a broken leg, 2 broken ribs,a broken ankle (the opposite one from the leg),lacerations from glass on my face and neck, and my chest is bruised from the airbag and the seat belt. You know those things REALLY hurt when they hit....yewouch.

I would love to rant about the fact that this guy was talking, eating and driving at the the same time but I'm doped up on painkillers and very fatigued....maybe you guys could do it for me?

Second, if your state isn't one of those which have outlawed the use of cell phones by the driver of a car, perhaps it would be a worthwhile activity to write to your representatives to ask them to support such a measure. • Those are some very good ideas....I especially like the idea of him having to do my grocery shopping. I could send him all over the place. "I want peanut butter from X healthfood store, and I only eat foodlion bread. You need to get my tampons (OHHHHHH YEAHHHH I'd make him buy tampons...the huge super absorbancy ones. And I'd find out which brand has the most noticeable box "Evil laugh") from Wal-Mart because they have the best price....." and on and on and on....hehehehe

  • Sound really painful... at least when the meds wear off or the shock ended, whichever came first. Sorry it happened. Hope your recovery is swift and complete.
    • Thanks. I havenn't been on this whole week because of it. Hurts too much to sit up. Then on top of it all my FM is flaring up BG time. I guess it's the stress of the accident. grrrrrrr
