Tsunayoshi's Journal: I have Fans?!?!

Wow...can't imagine what in the world I have done to get Fans....can't be 'cause of my kickass FotoKon picture...pictureand I have gotten "0wn3d" a couple of times with some of my postings so it can't be that. If anyone actually reads this, what did I do?

Someone voted you as me in the recent fotokon, didn't have u friended... so just added ya. I'm thinking I'll have to trim it a bit though, I'm getting 75-100 messages a day in JE notifications :)

Don't remember checking who people thought my pic was...what I thought was funny is that at no time did I ever indicate I was asian (I actually thought I made that clear at one point) yet a number of people had me at this guy [marotti.com].

Tsunayoshi (Soon-a-yo-shi) came from a PC game called "Shogun:Total War" or something...I needed a Japanese name for japanese sword master (think Chow Yun Fat's character Li Mu Bai from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) character I had in a role-playing game.

Yeah, that guy actually has a JE that talks randomly about people he's seen on /. . Some of it is weird, but he never leaves comments on. I thought your name was built using a Japanese Nintendo reference w/ a chaotic natural disaster-esque like twist but basing on a game is cool too.

As of the last time I checked (last week or so) you had been the only Friend/Fan/Foe I had, I assumed for some suitably insightful/sarcastic/inflaming remark in your Journal*. Suddenly I check my /. homepage today and I had 3 new Fans/Friends. I was just surprised since I really don't contribute all that much to /.

* which by the way is great reading since you and I share about 99% the same views...some of your regular contributors scare the shit out of me with their views. Of course I live about 5 miles
