The artist has shown himself to be very clever. From the long-term-contract to which we are all bound, however, there can be no escape. Those who try and rationalize their misdeeds and convince themselves that they have been a "good person" have an awful shock waiting when they realize that all of that is for naught!

Here again, this pales in comparison to any pact Prince, or any of you, might consider making with the Deceiver. These contracts never expire.
Those interested in a real, simple, permanent solution need only accept the Truth, which is that they are sinners and have already fallen short of our Lord's perfect standards. Fortunately for us all, the Lord has already paid the price, and we need only accept the gift He offers freely and acknowledge without reservation that he is the Creator and Lord of your very life and soul.
