Steve Jobs never calls Objective-C/Cocoa perfect, he just thinks that it makes for a much better development tool than .NET.

How the hell did that even get posted to Slashdot in the first place? Does anyone actually check anything before these things go live?

Check a few comments up for the incredibly boring emails back and forth, where basically the guy starts off by telling Jobs that Objective-C sucks without giving any reason. Makes me wonder why (and IF) he got a response in the first place.

Journal Journal: i need help

so, this guy in florida really messed with us. i don't even think he originally meant to, but it turned out screwing us royally. and today, after my four hour disability appointment of hell, he calls to tell shawn that he needs our address so his lawyer can send us a check and a letter. which means at the worst he wants to try to screw us out of our code that at this point we believe doesn't belong to him. the best? i can't actually see a best. perhaps if he sent a letter apologizing and saying

I seem to recall a news program doing a special on that very topic. They found that over half the places didn't in fact ID.

Also according to this article: "... Mothers Against Violence in America, a non-profit group dedicated to preventing violence by and against young people, organized its own sting earlier this year, sending children ages 12 to 15 into 17 major retail stores in the area. Fifteen of the stores sold to the children and teens."

So it seems more like the plaintiffs should go after the stores that sold the games. Unless the parents themselves bought them in which case we really know who to blame. If fingers really need to get pointed any more in this case.
