Journal Trolling4Dollars's Journal: I'm not "neo" anything because I don't need to be 10
I'm going into blowhard mode (TM) here so bear with me. I find it kind of comical that some conservatives feel the need to differentiate their brand of conservative from the "bad" old fashioned conservative. The so-called "neo-conservatives" (or 'neocons' for short). I suppose the idea that they have a new approach to conservative ideals is supposed to make people feel more comfortable with them, or something. Well... what I say is that if you've got a good thing going, there isn't much need to change it. That's why I am proud to be a liberal. No "neo" needed here because a timeless and classic idea rarely needs updating. That is all. Oh... I'm feeling tired... (a wag of the stump to Twirlip)
Note to the AC who was apparently frustrated by my last journal entry: Comments will be enabled on the previous entry when I get around to it. Could be a few days. Could be a few weeks. Could even be a few months. This is largely because I am VERY uninterested in politics. However, some other people here on Slashdot seem to take them WAY to seriously. Personally, I think it's the sign of a mental problem.
