Journal: Holy shit!!

For the first time in what has to be a few years at least, I am able to metamoderate again. And a quick glance at my karma tells me that I am also in the positive.

Either this is a new low for slashdot, or a few people have started taking me serious. ;)

I guess this is no small feat, considering that I was once at -110 karma. But that was before the Slashdot crew rigged the karma system, no doubt to their own benefit!(eerie conspiracy music).

So, I notice Jon Katz hasn't posted since sometime last year. I guess the whole Junis fiasco was a bit too much for him.
Does anyone have any idea what happened? I see he is still listed in the Author section, so I doubt he got fired.
Maybe he was so distraught over the backlash against his Junis story that he decided to fly to Kabul in a vain attempt to find Junis and redeem his journalistic integrity(isn't that an oxymoron?).
