My personal opinion: It is good this project is spread between various partners & jurisdictions all over the world, including an experienced large pharmaceutical company with a large manufacturing capacity. It will hopefully lessen the chance of any shenanigans while in the process of delivery and ensure its global availability.

And I do hope many of the worldwide project's to find a cure for Corona end positive, so we have good affordable options to everyone.

The majority of the money for the development of the vaccine comes from the German government, but the EU, EIB, Pfizer, and Fosun provided some of it, too. Pfizer was one of the early investors into the project, and taking money from US government's Operation Warp Speed has been decided against.

That is because the "Pfizer" vaccine was developed by the German BioNTech, and Pfizer being their US Partner.

Also Pfizer and Moderna plan to manufacture their vaccines in Europe (I've heard Germany, Spain and Switzerland), not in the USA, except for those for the USA itself.

Really? Which ones? AFAIK only the orthodox Slavic countries have used Cyrillic in 19th or 20th century (Belarus, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Serbia, Macedonia), and none of those have switched.

Not "switched" per say, but several of the countries you listed have both Cyrillic and Latin versions of their alphabets. Both of them are in common use.

Also, while you mention Serbia and Macedonia, you fail to mention the other ex-yugoslav states (Croatia, Bosnia, Slovania) all of which used Cyrillic prior to the breakup of the country, and which now (iirc) only reckognize the Latin version as their official alphabet.

Sorry, but Croatia and Slovenia did not use Cyrillic, but a version of the Latin alphabet.
