Excellent point Jherek! I suppose giving such a theory more than passing consideration probably *does* give Sony too much credit. ;-)

Currently a technical support engineer for a very large database/ERP/middleware software company. I love technology, but it could be argued that I've been doing IT for way too long (25+ years!). In previous lives, I've been an applications programmer, a DBA, a systems administrator, an IT manager (yuk!), and a technology consultant/architect. These days I spend my time trying to manage and repair customer situations that represent the worst of the worst, keep up with technology changes, and find some balance for family, all while maintaining my personal sanity.
