Answers to these questions have been refuted time and time again, but here you go:
1) If deposing a tryannical leader was the goal, then why have we done nothing in central Africa where most of the countries are run by despots. Hwy haven't we freed China from communism? It is convienent to use that as an excuse to invade, but America's foreign policy in other countries shows we are not at all concerned about liberating civilians.
2) America is also actively funding the terror in the Middle East by giving billions of dollars and military technology to the Israelis. Both side have been unwilling to end the war and we are as much to blame for the situation as Sadam and the other Islamic leaders.
3) America's meddling in the affairs of Middle Eastern countries in order to secure oil is also a major driving force behind Islamic extremists resentment of us.
4) We won't be pulling our troops out of the middle east now that we have conquered Iraq. The area's oil is too important to our economic intrests to just leave.
5) If WMD were the reason for invasion, why haven't we invaded North Korea? They have publicly stated that the are developing nuclear weapons. India and Pakistan recently developed them also. Why aren't we invading these countries to protect ourselves?
As a result of the war, we now have to deal with rebuilding a country that is still exremely hostile to our meddling. We may pull out and leave the situation as it is now or we will end up with a nighmare in a few years.
Iraq won't be a very democratic nation. America has already stated that we won't let the country elect an Islamic government. Only leaders who agree with the United States will be allowed to be in charge. Even if democracy did succed, the only presure it would put on other Islamic countries is either bow down to the United States' will or be taken over too.
Where do you get that democracies don't fight? Yes people generally don't like war, but our democracy isn't exactly peaceful and a goo deal of the country supported our last war
