The US--especially in today's globalized market--promotes the very idea of "piracy" by exploiting labor (intellectual, physical, etc.) for maximum profit.
So, it's against the law to market advertised, idolized, and copywritten goods, but it is a wise business move to have a sweatshop in China manufacture your advertised, idolized, and copywritten goods?
I think those "pirates" making some good cash and doing well deserve a medal for adapting to the constant pressure of the US consumer economy. Then maybe they can branch out and get some DVD labor camps setup in middle America since most of our blue collar jobs are tucked away over the border.
