Comment Re:Truespeak is goodspeak (Score 1) 145

I've definitely triggered some mod alerts, just as an artist/writer, having recently started using Facebook to post a stream of consciousness, some art, etc. If truespeak was what protected me, then that now includes topics such as suicide, terrorism, drugs, human trafficking and others worthy of the strange monologues and works I produce. There are also pictures that you might find on my timeline that might raise some... questions, but really, no comment yo! (Well, I'll just say, I didn't hurt nobody! And I have some of the same questions, thus the pictures! Lol...) I guess the trick has been to not speak so good, but keep it real. At least then, it's safe from moderation for the same line of reasoning that the US President's tweets aren't really moderated, even if they say they can: they're historic. (And side note: Twitter has yet to moderate me also.) \n\n Being born in '84, I feel a strangely close connection to Orwell. (Heh Heh!) However, perhaps in some strange way because of that, I'm quite defiant. I'm not at all worried about any censorship. It's an open dare to try it. (My fear of humans wore off the last time one of them almost ran me over, I guess.) Nevertheless, I've aligned my own value system as closely as I can with my community, because, I've weighed that and theirs likewise holds a great deal of value. If they overstep their bounds, and boy do they--I'm not going to hide or be quiet. In fact, unless you cage me or bury me, you can bet I'll voice my dissatisfaction somewhere; most likely anywhere and everywhere. \n\n I'd encourage everyone to speak their minds. Damn be the consequences: onward! \n\n - AbsoluteOther / reprover
