35 mpg on 1974 technology (Score 1)

I've got a '74 dart 4 door brick that I can get 35 mpg on the highway with a v8 that's been hopped up a little to boot. I just had to rip out all of the EPA stuff getting in my way. You can do a lot with older engines, I never understood the arguements for those clunker laws that pop up now and then.
